By using ForkSmart, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. Service Description

ForkSmart is a personal dining journal for logging restaurant experiences, ratings, dishes, and photos.

2. Account & Data Ownership

You retain ownership of your data. We only store and process it to provide the service.

3. AI & Receipt Scanning

Receipt scanning uses third-party AI services (currently OpenAI). By uploading a receipt, you grant AppSimple LLC a limited license to send the image to the AI provider solely for processing.

4. Sharing

All content is private by default. Any sharing to social media is done at your discretion.

5. Anonymized Data

We may use de-identified, aggregated data for analytics and product improvement.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

ForkSmart offers optional paid subscriptions. Subscriptions and billing are managed through your Apple Account and are subject to Apple's applicable payment and subscription terms. You can review, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings.

7. Termination

You may delete your account and data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimers

ForkSmart is provided "as is." We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-extracted data or any decisions you make based on the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppSimple LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ForkSmart.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
