ForkSmart is a private personal dining journal provided by AppSimple LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

• Account information (email, name)
• Your dining experiences, ratings, notes, photos, and receipts
• Device location (only when you use the Map feature or allow contextual suggestions)
• Usage data (app interactions)

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the ForkSmart service
• To generate your personal reports (including the Business Meals Report)
• To process receipts using AI

Data Storage

All your data is stored securely in Supabase (US-based servers). Photos and receipts are stored privately.

AI Processing

When you scan a receipt, the image is sent to OpenAI for the purpose of extracting the restaurant name, dishes, and amounts. We do not attach any personal identifiers to these requests.

Sharing

• Your data is private by default. We do not sell or share your personal data.
• You may optionally share individual experiences to social media.
• AppSimple LLC reserves the right to use anonymized, aggregated data (with all personal identifiers removed) for product improvement and analytics.

Your Rights

You can export or delete your data at any time from the app's Settings screen (Settings → Export Data, or Settings → Account → Delete Account).

Children

ForkSmart is intended for users aged 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
